Welcome to the ITA Website! From July 1, 2013, the Idaho Technology Authority (ITA) replaces the Information Technology Resource Management Council (ITRMC).
"Following ITRMCís recommendation, the Idaho Legislature created a new committee during the 2013 legislative session to oversee technology policy and investments by State government. The creation of the Information Technology Authority (ITA) is an important step that would not have occurred without the active contributions of ITRMC members. ITRMC set the stage for a dramatic change in how we manage investments in technology to serve State government.
Rapid advances in technology have been the norm for many years now, transforming society along the way. With such constant flux, itís easy to overlook the central role technology has come to play in our lives, especially in how government interacts with its citizens. Technology has become the means by which we serve Idaho citizens Ė and is very nearly the sole means. Councils like ITRMC and ITA help government adapt to these rapid changes in order to best serve our citizens."

For those of you familiar with navigating the ITRMC website, you should have no difficulty finding your way around here!
NOTE: a lot of the same information is located on this site, however the ITA will need to officially recognize and approve the continuance of the committees as well as the policies, standards and guidelines put in place by ITRMC.
